Brewery Brouwersnös
Young with historical roots
Small town brewery in Groenlo. Founded by descendants of the Groen family, who were at the helm of Grolsch for over a century. Craftsmanship comes first. Have their beers fermented no less than three times. First in open fermentation tanks for intense aromas. Then in closed tanks with natural carbonation. Produces beautiful, fine foam. Finally, secondary fermentation in the bottle to retain freshness and full flavour for a long time.
Noteworthy beers, soon winners of awards. Also fresh and light but like hefty beers. Dikke Toon (‘Big Tony’), an Imperial Stout, Mooie Muiter (‘Handsome Rebel’), a triple, Zwaar Geschut (‘Heavy Artillery’),
Brouwersnös, Achterhoeks for ‘brewers’ nest', breeding ground for new beers. Tasting room in Villa Adriana, once the director's residence of Grolsch. In the centre of Groenlo, on the canal, own brewers' harbour with whisper boats. Old Grolsch copper brew kettle in the park next door. Modern craftbeer brewery in the back garden. Tour, shop, lunch, dinner, beer menu to enjoy on the terrace for a long time.
Walk from the central square via Beltrumseweg to brewery and tasting room Brouwersnös in just 5 minutes.
