Moersleutel Motoroil
Deep Dark Stout
Motorolie, alcohol percentage of 12%. Good indication of temperature to drink too. Deep dark, full-bodied flavour. Roasted malt, bitterness from the hops. Coffee, chocolate, vanilla. Heavy and gently stroking on the tongue. From brewery Moersleutel, 'beer engineers', collaboration of 4 brothers, also machine builders for the craft beer industry.
Russian Imperial Stout. Originated in England. Heavy brother of the Porters, against freezing temperatures during travel. Loved by Russians from Peter and Catherine the Great onwards. Good with spicy dishes, the sharper the better. Ideal combination with lazy stuffed eggs with blue-veined mould cheese. Pure chocolate cake with a sour cherry after.
Luie gevulde eieren
Make some stuffed eggs sloppily sprinkled with a spicy blue cheese, a sour pickle and some sweetness from paprika and ketchup in no time. Goes excellently with this lovely Russian Imperial Stout.
